AIMS
• To develop a training module about accessible tourism to be included in national curricula for Tourism VET courses.
• To ensure that all tourism professionals will be better equipped and prepared to deal with issues such as accessibility and inclusion, as enhancers of the touristic experience.
• To upgrade the qualifications and abilities of future tourism professionals, so that they can deliver their services in appropriate ways, respecting not only the diversity of customers' access needs but also specific requirements related to disabilities or long-term health conditions.
• To allow that students currently attending VET education, acquire the skills to make disabled and senior guests feel welcome and overcome some of the physical and functional barriers that are still present in older buildings and environments.
